After weeks of back and fourth I finally picked up my new bike. I got it off Facebook for $50. Any reccomendations on how to clean frame would be appreciated. Iām new into biking.

Try some Meguiar’s cleaner wax on the frame after wiping it down with mild sudsy water.
Awesome! Personally I’d go over the bike fully with some car soap and a good brush. Be sure to thoroughly clean the chain and derailleur with a degreaser like simple green. After everything is rinsed and dry, be sure to relubricate the chain with a good chain lubricant (Rock N Roll Gold my personal preference). It’s always a good idea to also get some silicone spray lubricant and spray the inside of the cable housings to decrease resistance.
I’d check those tires and make sure they aren’t dry rotted and cracking up (it’s hard to tell the tire condition from the photo). I can see the chain looks like it’s sagging and the derailleur isn’t tensioned. I can’t tell exactly why without a drive side photo, but that needs to get looked over.
p.s. I’d highly recommend using a carnauba paste wax to try and shine up/preserve the paint!
