Exuse the state of the frame she needs some TLC. My bottom bearing casing completly snapped off and is now stuck in the threads pretty flush with the frame. Has anybody managed to remove something like this before? I have acess to all basic tools but nothing advanced like welding gear or anything

You could try hacksaw slits in the bb skirt and use a spanner or a screwdriver to get it loose and thread it out. Add some penetrating oil into the threads and let it sit first. Or cut through the bb cup in multiple places and remove the pieces. But you might mess up int the bottom bracket threads. In that case, you could try and find a frame builder to drop brass and chase the threads?
Any way you go tho, it’s not going to be pleasant..
That will be a mother f*cker to remove. Cut a slit into the bb housing with a hacksaw or a dremel (careful, you dont want to cut too deep!). Take a screwdriver and a hammer and hammer that shit in the direction of loosening. Maybe you need multiple cuts. Take your time and be cautious. If you slip with the screwdriver and hammer into the threads of the frame, you’ll have to visit your LBS to get them rechased.
Might be able to use something like an inside pipe wrench but that is an uncommon tool. Hit it with penetrating oil every time you walk by it at any rate
