Can ayone with experience with GravelKing Slicks and Semi-slicks tell me which is better for day to day mostly pavement commuting? by NomisEel Bicycle Bike Fixed Gear Fixed Gear Bicycle Fixed Gear Bike
gumption_boy on March 16, 2026 12:45 pm Steamrollers are the best. I’ve only used the Gravelking slick and SK, never the semi-slick. But even the SK are surprisingly smooth on pavement. If you do any recreational off-road riding, I’d get the SS. If you’re strictly pavement and hard-packed gravel/dirt, get the slick.
