    Does it do the same in the hardest gear? And make sure your chain is routed correctly. Also make sure the derailleur jockey wheel isn’t hitting the cassette teeth.

  2. Try spinning your cassette off the bike. It should spin VERY freely. If there’s the slightest drag, it can cause chain drop. It will be worse in the higher gears.

    Looks like the chain is routed wrong through the derailleur or one of the jockey wheels isn’t spinning freely.

  4. If you pedal forward, then stop pedaling (pedal stationary) with the wheel spinning, what happens ?

    Pedaling backwards on biggest cogs isn’t advised, so don’t consider that as a factor. Focus on functionality going forwards
