What's bad is that prison is so dangerous. Many ppl go inside for non violent crimes yet they get banged up with lunatics and creeps. Society turns a blind eye but wouldn't put up with it if on their front door.
Tax payers pay over 55.000 per prisoner a year. Maybe they should care that the prisoners doesn't come out more dangerous than before. Or totally abused and destroyed.

These people should be working for society, building roads, bridges, railways, houses etc and not be there doing nothing, playing cards, threatening, fighting etc.

I think these prisons are too luxurious for prisoners and horrible working conditions for the officers that work there knowing they’re under constant unnecessary scrutiny. 🙏 standing up for all the public service workers out there
