For an HG hub, is there anything else to look at instead of M5100?
Looking for a wide range cassette, hopefully at least 50t. I’m tempted to look at a nicer cassette to save weight, but unsure about the value trade off.
Use case is flow trails, bike packing, and adventure cycling in north central PA. Long climbs up glacial ridge lines when bikepacking, short punchy climbs on green and blue trails, and plenty of rock gardens.
Thanks for any opinions!

The Shimano options are M5100 Deore, or CUES LG400/LG700, paired with corresponding derailleurs and shifters. CUES is heavier but supposedly longer lasting, which might make sense for bikepacking. Then there’s Advent MX from Microshift, but I think that is 11-48 only.
11sp XT linkglide would be my number 1 choice for a no nonsense durable drivetrain.
Microshift also seems to be doing good things these days, I’d be considering their new Advent MX 11sp groupset if I were looking for something in a slightly lower price range.
Cues is technically more durable due to the link glide chain technology
