Hey, I come from Cologne and I have a good 5 weeks this July/August for my first big bikepacking trip outside of Europe. I have already done Alps and Pyrenees Crossing, so I am not completely inexperienced and have the right fitness + equipment. Now, of course, I know the 30+day routes of Bikepacking.com, but I'm so overwhelmed by the choice that I can't decide. I especially like mountains and a lot of off-road. What do you think is a useful first route, because you may have driven it yourself? Thank you!

Come to Canada, I’m sure you would love British Columbia! in 5 weeks you could do this amazing ~2,000 km loop: Vancouver -> Kelowna -> Vernon -> Clearwater -> Cedarside -> Prince George -> Quesnel -> Williams Lake -> Whistler -> Vancouver
There are lots of scenic mountain trails and gravel roads, it’s easy to find food and water, and you can find a lot of campgrounds along the way. I really want to do it, but I need to get a bike that could handle it first (like yours) and find the time to do it…
