    bar bag or basket for the front of the trek?

    I’m finding myself picking this bike for daily riding more often than not. It covers commuting, errands and riding for leisure.

    The pelago rack is not as useful as it could be on its own so I’m planning to pick up either a bar bag to rest on the rack or a basket to attach.

    What would you go with? Any specific bag recommendations that are not bank breaking? I do have a rockhopper with a front basket already.

      I’d go with a bag over a basket. I think.

      I’m looking for a good one myself right now, unfortunately I don’t have specific recommendations.

      I picked up Fabio’s chest recently. It can fit A LOT. I picked it up to carry my laptop, clothes, and lunch on my commute. It’s a bit pricey, but if you look around you might find a used one online.

      Basket with a bag in it. Ive got a wald basket with a banjo brothers bag. Not huge but holds what I need and a few extras for quick trips to the store or a change of clothes or whatever
