Three men were arrested as part of a crackdown on class A drug dealing in the High Peak – with one of them being found with wraps in his pants.

Officers in unmarked cars caught the trio sitting in an Audi Q5 in a layby near Chapel-en-le-Frith late on January 14th.

They were detained for searches under the Misuse of Drugs Act, and officers also searched the car. A wad of cash was found stuffed down the side of one of the seats, along with mobile phones found elsewhere.

A later search of one of the men revealed 17 wraps of what we believe to be the class A controlled drug cocaine, wedged inside his boxer shorts.

The men – aged 19, 26 and 27 and all from the Buxton area – were arrested on suspicion of possessing class A controlled drugs with intent to supply. They have since been bailed pending further investigation.
