    It’s usually better to weigh bikes with bathroom scales by holding the bike, standing on the scale, them subtracting your bodyweight from the total, as those scales are typically more accurate in the 100-200 lb range than the 25-35 lb range

    I mean that gen of bikes was like riding a bag of hammers. My 26/24 bighit was like 50 lbs.

  4. The diamondack has a coil front shock and the specialized has an air fork. And the type/style/quality of rim/spoke/hub/brake. The stem and bars. That’s half of the weight right there. Dope specialized!
