Hey cyclists, I am planning my route for a ~10 day bike tour (with tent) in Puglia in mid-April. I've done a few 2-3 day tours, but this is my first longer one.

My current plan is to follow this custom route: https://www.komoot.com/tour/2825556469?share_token=aBDW7D3I12EvN8LxRYGiA59yz7dp5EFbupsk1vgaKH6n0t831m&ref=wtd

I plan on spending nights (mostly camping) near Monopoli, Lecce, Otranto, Torre San Giovani, Porto Cesareo, Taranto, Martina Franca, Polignano a Mare, then back to Bari.

Are there any must-hit towns or campsites not already on my list? (especially between Monopoli and Lecce, as that day is currently 115K)

Is there anywhere on my list that I should skip? (is Taranto worth going slightly off route?)

Is there any beaches / towns / viewpoints along the way that I should make sure not to miss?

Thank you!

A detour to Alberobello is well worth it. It’s got a well restored area of the traditional Trulli houses.
