Just picked up a Grevil F3 and wanted to share some observations since sizing info on these seems a bit confusing online and component information differ from dealer websites and Pinarello doesn’t include all numbers.

For reference: I’m 5'10" with a 31" inseam and ended up on a size 550 after doing a full Retül fitting before buying the bike.

One interesting thing about the Grevil geometry: the 550 and 530 are actually very close in stack/reach. The 530 only has about 6 mm less reach (frame), but it even has a longer wheelbase. On the 530 I would have had to run spacers to get my bar height where I wanted it. So yeah, for touring mode I specifically chose the 550 with the option to slam the bars for the look.

The bike came with 40 mm tires instead of the listed 45 mm, which is totally fine so far.

The frame plus that offset seat post does a great job damping rough gravel.

Speaking of the seatpost: the stock post has a pretty large setback (at least 25mm), which makes the cockpit feel longer than the stack/reach numbers might suggest. I currently have the saddle quite far forward. Which looks stupid. Given the nice damping I also do not want to go with a zero offset post.

Adding to that, my bike came with a 100 mm stem. Again Pinarello doesn’t list the measurement and Online retailers list sometimes 90 mm.

After riding it a bit my reach probably is about ~10 mm longer than ideal, so that may be a future change.

Groupset is SRAM Apex AXS 12-speed. It works well. If the F5 had been available locally I might have gone that 13spd route.

I spin out around ~29 mph, which honestly is perfectly fine for a gravel bike and my riding style. I’m coming from MTB background and am not great with high cadence.

Also, because I almost snatched up a power meter from marketplace before the bike was even here: mine came with 172.5mm cranks. Some retailers list 170mm.

Overall I’m really happy with it: very smooth ride, stable geometry, and surprisingly comfortable for long rides.

Curious if other Grevil owners experimented with zero-offset seatposts or shorter stems on these.

I’m also 5 10 and went with the 53. My reach also felt a bit too long for me even with a 90mm stem. My saddle is slammed forward and I swapped my bars to the Zipp SL 70 XPLR which is one cm shorter reach and 2cm narrower than stock and it’s much better now.

My 53 came with 170 cranks and 45 tires.

  2. Yeah, i had to reduce my stem 10mm, even though the reach and stack dimensions were right in my geometry. Other than that, great bike! Surprised it doesn’t get more attention
