Why does this bike feels much comfortable compared to my CHPT3 V4. Slow on roads but handles like a boss riding over potholes, uneven roads. Super smooth shifting too.
The attack angle of your wheel is lower therefore getting over things like potholes and general road debris is a lot smoother in comparison to a traditional Brompton 16 inch tyre. As an extreme example my rigid 29er feels staggeringly different to my Brompton on the same road due to the fact I literally can’t feel the small debris and gravel in comparison to feeling every little bump on my Brompton.
