My old chain broke and installed a new one. However ever since I installed it it makes this weird crunching sound when pedaling and can kind of feel it as well. Its not the derailleur as when theres no load it doesnt try and shift. Bike is a giant Advance. Chain is a A PC-X1

As an audio-less prognosis however, a crunchy chain could be a couple of things — have you cut the chain/changed any components?
I ask because the last time my chain was doing something like that, I had fitted a cassette that was too big and stretched the chain out with too much tension — the rear mech was basically splayed like a fully extended arm.

Did you route the chain through the derailleur correctly? Often with this issue the chains under the tab instead of over
