Like the title says, the seller tells me he built this bike for 1700$ in 2017, and sells it for 150$ since it’s been sitting in his garage for years. I showed the rust pic to a friend and he seemed worried that it could be structural and the bike could break under me while riding it (I’m 200 + lbs). I would highly appreciate some of your opinions on this, whether I should go for the deal or be wary of it, thanks!

Looks fine, thing is the rest of the bike is probably also beat. I’d sand it away and paint over it if you care to
