Haha, try 8 dollars per gallon like a lot of Europe.
Here in Belgium average price went up from about €1.4/l to about €1.65/l.
There’s 3.78 liters in a gallon and a euro is 1.15 dollars so that’s $7,17/gallon
Our nothern neighbours in Netherlands though have it waaayy worse. Over there average prices have always been higher due to extra taxes. Their price at the pump has just about hit the €2/l threshold which is $8,694/gallon
Same, but we bought a budget EV last year and am very happy we did! My wife commutes for 60miles a day, so our gas expenses would be really high now. Gas has went up $.80/gallon since last month where we are.
We are a single car family, so I use my bike for transportation while she’s at work. So no change for me either!
