I found this bike in an old shed on property that my grandparents own and was interested in fixing it up a bit but I have no idea how old it is. There's a trailer on the property that looks to be from the 70s/80s but I'm not sure if it's that old. I looked up the name Cranbrook but ALOT of different bicycles showed up. It's definitely old enough for the grips to have turned into a weird sticky goo. But I would appreciate any advice so that I can get the right parts for it. It's not so bad after wiping it off a little.

It’s a Huffy Cranbrook. Basic cruiser. Some new tires, grips, maybe a seat. Lube the chain.
I’m not a bike mechanic but I don’t think that will be worth it to restore. Likely all the bearings are shot and need replaced, the seatpost could be seized, needs new tires and grips etc…
If it’s of sentimental value, hang it on the wall. save the headache and buy a decent single speed.
Huffy Cranbrook 26” Cruiser, maybe early 2000’s. Lots of them sold by Walmart. Simple single speed bikes. New tires, tubes, grips, seat, lots of cleaning and lubricants and it’s good to go. Probably every bearing and chain link needs work. They don’t weather well.
Klunker by definition. I have also been introduced to the niche name that I have never heard of before. Check out the reddit page. Klunker. Must have something to do with the frame and use. I am looking into researching this. Fix it up.
Beach cruiser.
