Just came back from my first ride with the new parts. I’ve been really happy with the bike so far and for $800CAD ($590 USD) I couldn’t really go wrong. I took advantage of Hunt’s Gravel Race wheelset for 40% off and upgraded the square taper BB, Prowheel crankset and Microshift steel cassette to a GRX 600 with a Hollowtech BB and the Alloy microshift cassette.
The bike lost a significant amount of weight and feels way better.

Aye bike twin! I bought an Obelisk when they were on sale a couple months ago pretty much because of your posts on here!(it was like, the only information on the internet about these).
Glad to see you still have it, I threw some Elite carbon wheels and better tires on mine and have been absolutely loving it.
