Is it carbon or aluminum? It sounds like it needs a lot of work to be ridden safely. I would honestly pass on that.

I’d pass on that. The suspension rebuild will be a considerable cost. Everything about the description and appearance make it seem ridden hard and not maintained. The lowest gear doesn’t so much look useful with the derailleur cage at that angle – any number of reasons for that. Walk away.
Basically don’t buy. This bike has been very poorly “maintained” and if that is the case ridden even worse. Unless it is free.
Ya this is a bad deal. Too much needs to be done to bring this back to where it should be. If it was perfect the price is still on the high side IMO.
