Gear I have:
– Flash 800 front light
– CP0048 handlebars
– Adventure Hydration Gear Groove Computer Mount w/ 1x accessory mount (link)
Grabbed the aftermarket gear groove mount when Canyon was out of stock to at least get the computer on.
I've removed the 1x accessory mount from the Adventure Hydration mount, and electric-tape the light to the underside. But because of the teeth on top of top-side of the light, its not a great solution. It works fine but it's just not as flush as everything else.
I can grind down the teeth and I'd feel better about it. But I'm looking for some advice as to how to get this fully sorted.
My question(s):
1) Does Canyon's OEM gear groove mount allow attachment of their OEM Flash light to the underside? The product page for the mount shown here doesn't show any photos of the light on the underside. However the product page for a mount (I assume the same exact one) and light shown here does.
2) If 'No' to 1, this aftermarket product here seems to solve the problem as well. Has anyone ordered from Canyon Cafe in South Africa?

From what I can tell, the standalone gear groove computer mount is not the exact same as the gear groove mount included with the light. I can’t tell if the non-gear groove light is the exact same as the gear groove light set. I basically am trying to figure out if (a) I need to exchange the set I have for the gear groove set or if (b) I can just buy the gear groove computer mount or if it’s different, check if Canyon would send out the gear groove mount compatible with the light.
