A better look at my shifter mount. If you window into the drillium tube right where it meets the bar tape, you can see the aluminum block inside. The block has a loop of brake cable that is locked into the block. The block is threaded for the allen head bolt, which pulls the loop tight. No bar drilling, and three planes of adjustment.

Why not just do bar ends at this point?
Edit: it is this in the middle of the drops? These pictures are disorienting
Ran into you years ago and snapped these pics, might help folks to see how they are oriented. I presume you reach each shifter paddle with your finger tips, and the extra bit of material added to each paddle makes them easier to reach?

This is dope!
More pictures, please!
Mah boi- these photos.. I still don’t know what I’m looking at
I might need to see a video of you shifting lmao I can’t really understand how you can reach them
I can’t really imagine how it looks like to use them, but the post mount drillium + rivets+ aluminium cold forgings + copper decals look fantastic!
Rube Goldberg style
Respectfully this looks considerably more cluttered, and less ergonomic, than just clamping the flat bar lever onto the drops. Like I appreciate the craftsmanship of it all, and the ingenuity, but it just doesn’t make sense to me
I dig the problem solving but I would be worried about the shifter, mount, or cable potentially getting caught on a branch, low fence, etc, or banging my knee on this.
Beautiful!
Points for creativity and ingenuity but seems totally impractical

And yr setup.
Sometimes I see photos in here and it looks like AI
I like your craftsmanship bro but wtf am I looking at? Feel like I’m tripping shrooms, and playing 007 golden eye split screen.
This is the wild and crazy spirit of xbiking
good craftsmanship.
glad WTB’s very unpopular idea works for you.
This sounds genuinely genius and looks beautiful. I’m feeling lost in the sauce looking at your shiny parts photos like I’m staring at a lovely steampunk contraption that I can’t visualize how it works!
Follow up with more details and a wider angle shot or two!.. I’m totally curious.
Edit: I’m on mobile and had missed the additional photos from u/jimmythefly. Now it makes sense! So cool!
Why is there a hair roller on it?
