Cleaned up and rebuilt after a long winter
Intercontinental commuter, impromptu century machine, whatever hauler, rail trail and bridleway cruiser, rides it all like the proverbial dream
Bought virtually unused from original owner in 2020, little updates here and there of course. Some older pics included for fun

The platonic ideal of an xbike
Love it! My ‘xbike’ is a 1988ish Miyata Valley Runner, fully lugged as well.
OMG. Really nice! Beautiful build. Misty eyes, brought back Miyata memories.
I bought a small Miyata freestyle bike with 14” wheels for my son back around then, 85 or so. The quality of their ‘little kids bike’, the geometry, everything was stupidly high. I was, and am deeply impressed with Miyata. It was a proper freestyle bike with a proper steep head angle, front brake cable rotor, front and rear pegs and little mini brake levers. Beautiful paint. Fit my son perfectly, and he was doing tricks in no time (In mini parachute pants of course).
I consider Miyata a highly underrated bike brand and some of their bikes absolute jewels….like this one.
