After finishing our time in Durmitor National park we drop down onto what has become our favourite part of the journey, Piva Gorge.

From our time bikepacking in Montenegro this was by far the best road for bikepacking and the most scenic, with tunnels through the rocky cliff faces, quite sealed roads, crystal blue water, lush green trees, and fantastic weather. What more could we ask for?

Join us on one of the most beautiful and scenic routes for bikepacking in the Balkans.

  1. Bonjour, What a particularly peaceful and verdant step. I remember once almost losing control of my bike because my water bottle had come loose during a descent. That day, I realised that nothing should ever fall out, so I meticulously adapted some camera cases to hold my water bottles and other items, providing quick access and secure storage. I now have 14 cases, including three waterproof panniers and a large rear basket that holds my ultra-light backpack for walking. Apart from the basket, none of them were designed for bikepacking, but they are durable and even the lightest ones! My black coyote from Sigikid fits perfectly on the handlebars with its featherweight, and I must admit that its zen-like gaze is unique^^ I hope that you will find a solution for your dog in the near future and that he will not put an end to your travel plans, because you will never be able to recapture those years of free youth. Bon vent + hats off for the editing^^

  2. Loving seeing your evolving style, video editing SKILLS and the drone shots. Your genuine selves are shinning through in the face of huge challenges ❤
