Hey Davy could you do a video about the south Wexford ira brigade the only reason why Iโm asking is because I think my great grandfather was in that brigade around the areas of Bridgetown, Murrintown, kilnick, and surrounding area if you are looking for information I would look in at Wexford library
Nice one Davey. I'm only 4 miles from borrisokane. Know this spot well. Still family of those men living in the area. Tans didn't get it all their own way around Tipperary.
I'm a South African living in Ireland totally in awe of Irish history. Would it be ok for me to wear those shorts without being Irish and having no Irish ancestry?
Ya ,but what resulted in that conflict was a truce and a settlement that part of ireland ,,,6 counties, would remain british ,ya nice Jersey but I don't have the heart to fully support it, those people let the North Ireland people down, we are still fighting! Now you would call those people still fighting,,terrorist, my god, shame on you
Love the tree for three. People on some Caribbean Islands have the same accent. Was behind an old woman in a checkout line from I believe Trinidad or Barbados speaking exactly like my old Irish grandma used to speak.
I love this, I'm actually passing through Borrisokane today. This trip will feel different I think I'll take a little detour. What courage, determination and dedication of our flying columns. You do their memory justice. Thank you.
Thank you for these amazing videos. My grandmother Gorman grew up in Coolmuinga, Clare. My grandfather Murphy grew up in Monamolin, Wexford. There were so many stories about what they encountered, resisted, endured, etc. They immigrated in the 1930โs. While I am grateful for all that my grandparents gave up, I know that I donโt know enough about their hardships or what they survived. If you ever care to share what you learn about the history for either town/county at some point, Iโd be ever so grateful. Thank you for the marvelous videos! All the best. Most sincerely. Thank you.

An ambush of an ambush. Did the B & Tโs and RIC know about the ambush or were they just being precautious?
Excellent video ๐น Davy.
Was Seamus Robinson present, I believe Ernie O' Malley covers this ambush in one of his books ๐. ๐บ๐ฆ

Sounds a fair and balanced piece of propaganda.
Davy! You might have to start documenting the rise of the Irish people 2025 and not against the English. ๐ช๐ญ God bless the Irish and the UK
Great celebrating death . Remember who sided with the Kaiser and Hitler.

I so wish I could get one of them Jerseys. My family emigrated to America a long time ago but I am a Scottish Irish person.
If they didnโt occupy Ireland or were not loyalists to the occupation they would t be dead now would they?

Pass that spot regularly. Plenty more similar spots in North Tipp.
Hardly glorious I am thinking
