This documentary tells the full story of PC Andrew Harper, a 28-year-old police officer who was dragged to his death in rural Berkshire by three teenage Traveller boys- Henry Long, Albert Bowers, and Jessie Cole.

PC Harper had just married and was days away from his honeymoon when he responded to a 999 call about a stolen quad bike. In the moments that followed, he was caught in a tow strap attached to the suspects’ getaway car and dragged for over a mile at high speed.

Henry Long, Albert Bowers, and Jessie Cole- were all from the Four Houses Corner Traveller site. They were arrested within hours, charged, and eventually stood trial at the Old Bailey.

  1. How about everyone takes accountability for their actions whether intentional or not if you caused death then you should take the penalty and you should have to do the full sentence not half of it

  2. 1 young dumb kid. + 2 other young dumb kids. 3 dumb kids make a dumb decision. Then make ANOTHER dumb decision. Then another one. Life changing stuff!!!
They could have bettered themselves and actually succeedded in life, but the negative environment had such an effect on them all.
"Oh well, just another chapter in youth of today". And so it continues………………………………………………………..

  3. They’ll eventually be released, but they’ll are be incarcerated again in the future. They had no education, job skills or moral compasses to begin with. So when they get out, they’ll have even less of a chance to reform.

  4. disgusting over reach yet again harpers law another infringment on your civil rights! so to put this in to perspective you could be shop lifting and get chased by a police officer who gets knocked down you up for life! and don't think the judge is going to go easy on you its mandatory nothing the judge can do

  5. sounds like a terrible accident to me they didn't go out to murder anyone just robbing, just because they are lowlife scum doesn't change the fact it wasn't murder by a long shot feel sorry for the guy but harpers laws a joke i bet hes turning in his grave

  6. What a terrible waste of a career officer and loss to his young wife; all because three kids were not trained responsibly by their grand parents and parents.
In the UK if you are trained to be responsible, educated to be resourceful and mentored to be ambitious and respectful you can be anything you want, a copper, a scientist, a judge, an artist; anything.
In the UK, if you are brought up to have ambition, the world is your oyster.
Even kids from tough backgrounds can get the cherry on the cake; ask Lord Suger, a Barnardos boy.

But whe your family let you become feral you have only pain and failure to look forwards to.

  7. I really don't understand justice systems anymore… so, sentenced to 16 and 13 years respectively but due to "the seriousness of their crime" they would have to serve at least "two-thirds of their sentences" rather than the usual "HALF TERM"?!?!? Isn't the seriousness of the crime already factored into the sentence when a judge passes it down? I don't understand as the "justice system" almost certainly wouldn't let judges add more time knowing most would be negated by them being let out early! So whatever the sentence is it just gets chopped in half… what a sobering reality for the victims of any crime!!!!!!!!!

  8. What a nightmarish way to go. Especially at work with no goodbyes or anything, only agonizing pain and then death. My heart breaks for his loved ones and colleagues at the police department. 💔

  9. U Brits really need to treat cop killers the way we treat them here in America. Here all 3 of those lowlifes woulda got either Life without parole or Death depending on which state it happened in. In America cop killers NEVER see freedom again

  10. The law in the UK is disgusting. Life without parole for these vile scumbags. How can someone be so brazen and blazè after killing a police officer? No morals whatsoever. Disgusting creatures. The only way that site could have been inproved would have been to knock it down!

  11. Arresting them for murder. But the victim is the man who was robbed. Absolutely no justice for that man whatsoever. Despite the fact that he will never feel comfortable in that house again. And maybe anywhere. He could have lost his life that night, he will forever feel the psychological effects of feeling helpless to protect his family and land, all because the 'police' have taken our 'rights' away from us when it comes to protecting ourselves. I do not feel sorry for the pig. He is the reason this man was not allowed to protect himself, his family or his property. This pig isnt the victim. The family who have to live with the helpless feeling of not being able to protect themselves are….

  12. Holly shit….einfach nur lächerlich und asozial und respektlos wie die Kinder und die Erwachsenen sich gegenüber der Polizei verhalten. Ekelhaft die Eltern, da wundert es mich nicht, daß der Sohn genauso ist.
