  1. Hi Vanessa, the dresser Is this a video before you had the baby or after you had the baby and we haven’t seen much of the little one hope the child is doing well. Keep up the good work. I always enjoy your videos in your quirky little sayings from Australia. We’re on the big island.

  2. Glad you manage to do this ride along side friends and family which was enjoyed . Thank you for starting to show us in this series, Glad you got this out now after you have started to find yourself and get back to normality after bringing your newest little family member into the world.

  3. Hope you enjoyed your trip through our country, despite the weather. It truly is the best place to ride a motorcycle… When it's summer and clear weather. Not so much when it's cold and lots of rain. The view is always amazing though… except when there is heavy fog, which is common some places here. ❤❤👏🏼👏🏼

  4. Alaska has a population density of 1.3 people per square mile, which translates to roughly 0.50 people per square kilometer. But we have very, very few roads.

  5. Nice video overall but the "busy" music somewhat spoils it for me.These sort of videos are much better either with no music or gentle soothing music matching the soothing nature of the scenery.

  6. Reminds me of Canada with scenery and population density’s. In Canada it’s 4.2 people per square kilometre. In the southern parts it’s way more and in the northern parts it’s way less.

  7. Norway's roads and landscapes are truly stunning! The thrill of riding through those hairpin turns must be incredible. Thanks for sharing this adventure! 😊🇳🇴

  8. Hey all! You are now riding my backyard with the most stunning road you can ride in Norway. The road to Lysebotn is just upen during summertime so enjoy it while you can! Enjoy and stay safe!👍🏍️

  9. Been there twice Awesome roads. I recommend road d902 in France. it's probably not as scenic but those alp climbes and decent are Awesome, for me so far unmatched.

  10. @14:30 If I'm not mistaken this is the old mountain road before the Haukeli tunnel opened in 1968. Same with the road that bypass Røldal tunnel that opened in 1964. The tunnels were built to increase winter regularity.
@28:30 That is the third longest in Norway for now. If fans are not running then that is because the CO2 and NOX levels are ok. There are sensors that control these fans.

  11. I live in Stavanger, I go to Lysebotn a couple of times a year, the place with the goats is a place I visit up to several times a week.
You forgot to mention there is a hairpin inside the tunnel, tends to catch people off guard.
I might be a little biased, but yes the west coast of Norway is probably some of the best places in the world to ride a bike and the scenery is just spectacular.
Guess your biggest issue was selecting what to include in the video 🙂

  12. 6:39 "It's kind of a dead end. You come down the hill, get to see the beautiful lake at the bottom and then you ride back up".
That's not a lake, that's the Lysefjord. Also, there's a ferry that takes you from Lysebotn to Forsand or Lauvvik near Stavanger.

  13. What an epic way to kick off the trip! 🔥 Those 27 hairpins on Lysebotn Road look absolutely insane — must’ve been such an adrenaline rush, especially on that beast of a Harley! 🤘 The tunnel ride was the cherry on top. Can’t wait to follow along on the rest of this adventure! 🇳🇴🏍
    Warm regards from Norway.🇳🇴

  14. If you come back to Norway, try and do Suleskarvegen (footage I saw sneakily snuck in before Lyebotn haha) on it's opening day, or very soon after (usually 21st of May), after the road being closed for winter & you will ride through potentially huge snow walls carved out of the winter dumps. How high depends on the winter's snowfall of course but some years it's 7+ meters of snow canyons haha, quite spectacular!!

  15. 8:50 Unfortunately, like the west of the UK, the west of Norway is very often a wet & soggy too. Ride over the mountains to the east and into the rain shadow and the climate is very different with warm dry sunny summers and much colder and snowy winters, And usually better roads (for fast riding), but not so spectacular scenery…

  16. What do you mean with Norway being "remote"…??? It's shorter way to many places in Europe …..than from anywhere in Britain. Maybe have a look at a map…. But Brits will always see themselves as the centre of the world….
Norway has 14 persons pr. sq. km ….not 9 …a number which is just taken out of the blue.
That thumbnail picture is just a result of some drone shot plus some photo shop activity. There is no road leading to that angle of view of the road down to Lysebotn.
The name of the tunnel is Vallviktunnelen ….not Vallvick. The letter c is not used in the Norwegian language (just like q,w,x,z) …..hence the combination of the letters ck does not exist here.

  17. Drove around 6k on a road trip back in… 2012? on mamy of these roads. It's such a trip down memory lane watching this. Thanks!

  18. The Lysebotn road beats Trollstigen in my opinon, especially if you get a good rhythm and a clear run. The sheep on the road up can be more bolshie than the average.

Roads that close over the winter, like the nearby Suleskardveien (RV450), are good early in the season if there has been a decent snowfall over the winter as you can ride through canyons of snow created by snow ploughs cutting through it. I drove the Lysebotn this weekend, not so much snow this year and there was some light sleet on the high road.

One quibble is the illegal overtake at 13:08, wrong side of a solid yellow line (centre line in Norway), and at a junction, never a sensible place to overtake whatever. We've got the power and acceleration on a motorcycle to be able to wait and overtake in a safer place. 5 motorcyclists have lost their lives this already on Norway's roads, 5 too many, and this number does not needed to be added to.

Norway, epic / mad roads and epic views. Ride safe! And remember, however early you start you will not beat the German campervans to the best roads or the ferry terminals . 😀

  19. If you ever make it to the US for a ride, try the “Devil’s Highway” (called that because it used to be designated as Route 666 until it was changed to US Highway 191) in eastern Arizona between Morenci, Arizona and Alpine, Arizona. 91 miles of turns and ups and downs over mountain passes. I rode it recently for the first time on a 1600 mile, 6 days/5nights moto camping trip from my home in central Arizona. I think 70% is posted as 30mph and so many 25, 20, 15, 10 mph warning signs heading into curves. And you’ll see a few oil stains on the road in some of the curves. I was riding my R1250 GS with Mosko Moto panniers and duffle. By the time I got north of Alpine and the road started straightening out my wrists felt like rubber.

  20. Nice ride ! I go into these mountain roads and drive my BMW very often, and sometimes at night when the cops are asleep… soon getting a bike license and bike on these fantastic roads.
