Hi guys, just bought myself a cheap SS second hand to commute to work. I’ve had it for around a month now and it’s been extremely hard to ride, even on completely flat ground it feels like I’m fighting the bike. Starting from a standstill is really hard and can be a bit sketch when pulling out with cars oncoming. I understand it’s a single gear so it’s not meant to be easy but to give some context I’m a very athletic 24 year old guy that plays sports and weight lifts 5/6 days a week so I don’t think it’s an issue of strength.

Anyway looking for some advice maybe to do with chain tension or seat height as I have no clue about any of these things.

P.S. I took the back break off because it looks cool without the cable, it’s a short commute and I understand it can be dangerous
