Bonjour,
Hello,
I’ve just received my new Grizl and the front wheel axle rod doesn’t go in more than 2 centimeters, as if the inside gets tighter. I’ve contacted Canyon, but they take ages to respond. Has anyone had the same issue?

Try from the other side
I know this might sound silly, but I can’t tell from the picture.
Is the end cap still attached to it while you’re trying to push it through?
Front wheel axle goes in through the drive side; rear axle goes in through the non drive side
I tried the same with a brand new Ritchey frame. Reached out to where I bought it from and they send me a new thru axle in the correct size.
The axle fits to the frame so they shouldn’t have sent you a wrong axle.
Just as a precaution, do you have any way to measure the diameter of the axle? It should be 12mm.
Also, how does it look like when you look into the hub from the other side when you put the axle in? Is it actually hitting something or just that it doesn’t fit?
Is the axle a 12 mm (12 mm diameter)?
I had a similar issue with my Spectral:On when assembling it. The front hub had an internal guide tube that “floats” independently from the hub (think of a tube inside a tube). The inner guide tube was not lined up with outer bearings and prevented the axle from being inserted. I used a pencil to recenter the guide tube, and the axle inserted fully afterwards.
