So I posted a few months ago that we were going to do the Tour Aotearoa with a 4 year old and since yesterday we've completed it (https://www.reddit.com/r/bicycletouring/s/dDoyutnmWn)!
We didn't do it completely as we've started in Auckland and skipped the part between the Pelourus bridge and Nelson (that's the only part where we've taken a shuttle)
it was a great adventure and we even did it faster than we thought we were going to do (planned for 3 months)
we started the third of January and reached Bluff on the third of March.
It wasn't easy with a 4 year old but we've managed and even managed to do all the grade 4 mtb tracks on the North Island.
Now we still have 3 weeks to explore the rest of New Zealand something we didn't expect to have time for.
