the text i put didnt work, so here it is again: so i have a profile stem with a stripped bolt, because the bike shop that installed it was dumb enough to not put any grease in there so they siezed up. (bottom clamp bolt.)

i have tried poinding in a torx, an extractor bit (which snapped off and is now stuck in there btw) and penetrator fluid. i am desperate to get this thing out because i dont wanna spend another 100 bucks onna stem. help!

Can you fit a hack saw through the gap? Cut it then it should fall/ tap out

Time for a new one. I don’t fuck with the bolts holding my handlebars and stem to the steer tube.

Kind of the most important part, $100 or a new set of teeth. You pick

Step one. If you know a decent TIG welder, have them weld a bolt or nut in the hole of the old one.
Step two. Heat up the opposite side with a torch, and use some penetrating oil, and let it sit.
Step 3. Heat it up again, and carefully back it out.
