There is nowhere like Semonkong anywhere in the world
I go to explore the market of Semonkong, to experience its atmosphere, and I am not disappointed. I first meet a South Africa woman that is looking for a white for a South African movie. Then, I go to the supermarket to buy some food for my way to Maseru, and to my great surprise, the parking lot of the supermarket is not filled with cars, but with donkeys. In the supermarket, I meet a very colorful character who thinks that by going to Europe you immediately become rich.
Finally, I rejoin the film crew to see if I can help them, but our schedules are not compatible, and I have to give up on the idea of appearing in a South African movie.

An add on to my previous comment
A pity you couldn’t stay to act in the film and we do understand that your next accommodation was already booked and paid for
Despite that I am very curious and can’t wait for when this film with the Lesotho people come out🎉

  2. Hahaha what a place and now with the new hat, you fit right in 🤣 did you in the end play in the film? when can we expect it in cinema? 😆

  3. Famo to the world, the Scottish must see this….haweeeeng banna…Yves ke le khaota 🤞🏽🔥🥰semonkong come alive end of November with the annual biggest braai festival in Africa

  4. Love you Yves but that was stupid. Just rebook your accommodation and appear in a movie. Once in a lifetime opportunity missed for a nights stay somewhere. Ridiculous if U ask me.

  5. Just spent 10 days in Maseru. It was for work. We met with other colleagues from various Government Departments, the Police, Chiefs, High Commission etc. Everyone we met was so kind and friendly. All extremely eager to assist us (their South African counterparts). The hotel staff were amazing – could not do enough to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We managed to go see some beautiful sights while we were there. Alot of Basotho hats were bought 😉

  6. she is not a south african woman, she is 100% Sotho. and you disappointed us by not having time to be in our film. but your friend did a good job. i am also angry that i did not meet you
