I just got the profile design sonic 26a and they seem far too long, like I could cut atleast 5cm off the hand end and maybe 2cm off the other end.
is this pretty normal? are they supplied long for most people?

Yes you are supposed to cut them.
Get a pipe cutter to do it cleanly, and a file to remove sharp edges from the aluminum
Havent Had the issue with mine but im tall as shit, but there should not be an issiue Just wake Sure the cut aint sharp
I have never had the need to cut mine, but if you are comfortable and confident with the fit, I would see no reason not to cut them. Just make sure to fit the bar end plugs afterwards to prevent injuries.
