I’m a NYC Area/Westchester-based (Rivertowns) cyclist in my 40s looking to find a few good humans to ride with — the kind who think quiet back roads, good vibes, solid vistas, an adventurous route choice, and great conversation count as a perfect day.
I moved to NY about 7 years ago and I’m still trying to find my cycling community.
About me:
- Deeply optimistic and generally assume the best in people
- Have access to a place in the Catskills — which feels like it should be used for bikes
While I’m mostly interested in riding bikes and getting to know some solid people, I can always be talked into a good gravel race.
Cycling is best as a communal experience, and I’d love to find 2–5 steady, positive riders interested in:
- Exploring the beautiful paved and gravel roads of northern Westchester
- Multi-day gravel/road/bikepacking trips to VT / Catskills / wherever
- Pushing each other in a kind, supportive way
If you:
- Can laugh when the route gets weird
- Think post-ride tacos/beer/coffee are non-negotiable
- Occasionally want to ride off into the woods or desert in search of a little joy
…we should ride.
DM me or comment. Happy to share routes, meet up for a shakedown spin, or grab a beer.

Oh no.
Please don’t lay your bike drive side down.
