Today’s ride takes me from Macclesfield to Manchester on a mixed terrain adventure through canal paths, busy roads, and city centre cycle lanes. After weeks of unpredictable UK weather, it felt good to get back on the saddle and explore again.
I pass through Castlefield, ride along peaceful canals, visit Manchester Cathedral and the Northern Quarter, and reflect on why I cycle in the first place. This ride is a mix of countryside calm and urban energy, more about the journey than the distance.
