I need to replace the brake calipers on my Biomega 28" NYC 7-speed bike. The bike currently has the stock brake levers and calipers installed. It is the br-m6000 calipers with the corresponding bl-m6000 levers. I plan on replacing them with the br-m6100 calipers, but I want to make sure it is compatible with the exisiting parts. I've read some different statements on the internet, but I’m not quite sure what to think.

Also, I've measured the disc brakes to 160 mm, but the rear wheel uses a centerlock mechanism and the front one just uses screws. Can the Shimano Deore XT SM-RT76 be used for both? I have read of people using a centerlock adapter, but I'm not quite sure what the best solution is, so if there's any improvements or other parts you'd suggest, please do.

Lastly, I also have the shimano professional disc brake bleed kit (TL-BR001 / TL-BR002 / TL-BR003). Can they also be used to bleed the m6100 brakes?

Thank you
