Saying goodbye to my first 'no-compromise-bike' Got the frame as a reall good deal with mediocre components on it and spent a lot of time upgrading it to exactly what I wanted as my gravel/ road and allroad bike with different wheel sets

Although I only got a year and ~10k km out of it until I had to destroy it, it saw quite a few places (Girona, Andalucia, Sardegna, Allgäu, Mallorca,..) and actually handled everything I threw at it pretty well. But I guess the promise of the resurgence of magnesium bikes was to good to be true 😉

Wait, forgive me. Why’d you have to destroy the frame? Is it because of the magnesium or another reason? Looks sick though. That color is my dream green.

  2. Sorry for your loss. Bike looks dope.

What front light is that? Seems pretty slim.

  3. Bummer. I have an R/1 that thankfully is outside the serial number range. I love it, most of all because it’s a quirky and rare material.
