Built a neo-retro thingy. Built up an old 90s gazelle frame to serve as a neo retro commuter – training bike with mostly second hand parts. So was a bit budget cautious.
Swapped the original groupset for a mechanical SRAM Apex1 groupset (with campagnolo rim brakes). Added vision team 35 wheels and 28mm continental gp 5000 tyres. I did change the pedals for spd-al though. Saddle is a Fizik.

Love it, especially the orange accents! I’m currently building up my 1989 Gazelle in a similar fashion, commuter – training bike.
How tight are those 28mm tires on the frame? And how did you transition the 1″ to 1 1/8″ stem?
