Sadly, I would…. not ride that fork. That sketchy-looking seam around the upper part of the taper is something I’ve never seen before in a reputable fork (it looks like someone gouged the steer tube), and the layup looks very sloppy. I would overlook a tiny bit of crooked or folded layup, but if that steer tube looks this bad in a photo, I really don’t feel like I’d trust it.
This is a “nope” coming from someone who routinely rides a structural DIY carbon repair.
