Well, sort of…. I brought everything packed and ready to go and forgot my Voile straps. But I guess that’s why we do this so we can make the dumb mistakes when it doesn’t matter.
Just a day trip an hour east of San Diego to test the new Aeroe Spider rear rack. Unfortunately wasn’t loaded so I’ll be back out there soon. Rode ~25 miles mostly single track with some fire roads and a bit of tarmac.
Made quite a few changes since last years trip. Takeaways; really like the look of the rear rack and tail fin bar cage…. going to have to actually test them soon.
Love the feed bags I found in my bin of climbing gear (chalk bags), and the long top tube bag fits my tent poles and bunch of other stuff.
Tried darn tough socks for the first time and love them too!
Also like the Farr mini aero bars on tarmac only.
And tried the tailwind carb powder and it seemed to work well.
