I intend to order Canyon endurance and need a trainer to check the bike fit. Since axles are done differently since my 26 yr old bike, can I buy any trainer like one below or do I need to look for a specific axle description? I don’t to damage the bike in case I have to return it.

  1. I have this trainer. It’s simple and works great!

The Saris connects to both ends of your bike’s rear wheel quick release axle.

A standard, rounded skewer works best. Easy and cheap to find on Amazon or LBS if your current quick release axle doesn’t play well.

You’ll also want a front wheel riser, which you can find for ~$10 on Amazon.
