After several weeks of use, am happy to confirm:
* Better ride than Conti Urbans. On London and the bombed out rutted roads where I live in north Bedfordshire villages.
* Same or better handling. I certainly haven’t noticed either way.
* Zero punctures vs increasing regularity on the Contis. These have an almost Marathon Plus style protection layer (a bit thinner 3mm vs 5mm).
* Possibly higher drag – I notice battery draining ever so slightly faster. This is tread/carcass/thickness. Practically it makes no odds. On the Brompton G electric you go everywhere at 15mph, the only thing that varies is the effort split between the rider and the motor.
* Possibly slightly higher top speed than the contis given the larger circumference.
Would recommend highly.
