  1. Not if you live in a Conservation Area, or if the house is Listed: you will need planning permission … I know I've lived it! It's all about the Money, & Control!

  2. No no no no no "without planning or building regulations"? i dont think so! planning and building permission YES! but u build anything not up to spec of current UK building regulations and specifications you will fuck yourself over if u ever want to sell or if there is an accident that is caused from improper or lack of adhiration to building regulations.

  3. If you're building for me I would want you to follow the BRegs! What about power (lights, sockets, etc.)? The wiring must comply with Part P of the Building Regulations. Plumbing??? Drainage, damp proofing?!!!

  4. Oh that? That's just a storage shed.
That's where I store my propane cook top and my wood stove off season, and I also store the extra bedroom set and I also store my spare sofa and rug in there as well.
I also happen to store my brand new toilet and plumbing fixtures for when I renovate the house's bathroom.

  5. Thought it was 3m to the ridge 2.5 to the gutter . Or is that for planning maybe . Still looks fantastic .

I did mine but I’ve let the entire garden grow over it . I like the life n birds tbh over slabs it seem so…. Cold and un inviting for some reason

  6. Some of your numbers are wrong, if its within 2m of boundary the max height is 3m and thats to the eaves not ridge, so the 4m overall height still works regardless

  7. My land, i own it and I'll build what i like on it, fck the gready council's trying to tell people what they can and cannot do with their own land, in my opinion if you've brought and paid for it, it belongs to you and nobody has the rights to tell you what to do.FCK THE COUNCIL.

  8. Not without building regulations… and don’t be pleb gambling with your land, get a certificate of lawful development so you don’t struggle to answer basic questions when you come to sell the most expensive thing you’re going to ever own.
