My dad passed in September, and spent his whole life collecting old BMX parts and building bikes from his childhood. He raced in nationals and had sponsors, tons of trophies etc.
Eventually he had to downsize and sold off most of his collection. At the time of this death these are his 3 that he kept, these are his babies. I know a ton of work went into sourcing all the parts and piecing them together over the years. I'm just not versed enough or familiar enough to know as much about them. If I had to guess, I would assume every possible part is era correct and sourced from the same time frame. He was incredibly proud of his bikes, and while I never knew exactly what they were, I always noticed the insane jealousy of the neighborhood dads.
I'm considering selling 2/3. The larger frame Powerlite I don't think I can bring myself to get rid of.
If anyone can tell me anything about these, the parts you see, or what you overall value them at, I would be very grateful. I can't attempt to sell these if I don't have an understanding of their value. Thanks everybody.

Powerlite was a kind of middle range brand at that time like Mongoose or Scorpion. Looks like they upgreaded the parts with the pro neck stems and redline cranks. Can’t say what they value would be now, maybe some collector would be interested. Keep that cruiser though, that is a beauty!
Cross post this on r/oldschoolbmx. You’ll get more info there. These do have some good quality OG parts. The Shimano DX pedals on the first 2 go for a couple hundred dollars themselves.
Sorry for your loss. If you join the bmx museum and become a pro member you can look up the sold prices of bikes. With that collection I’m pretty sure your dad was a member.
Powerlite were cool bikes bitd.
Looks like dad put some redline flights on and it looks like they might be single pinch (the better ones). Some shimano DX pedals and what looks like a tough neck stem? The rims look like araya 7x or 7c but they could also be weinman.
All very collectable.
Dad knew his stuff.
RIP dad
Sorry for your loss – your dad had good taste. Redline Flite cranks were awesome, as in the best, and will be worth a lot to the right person. Same with the Shimano DX pedals. The bike itself was niche & very desirable too. It looks to be in great condition. I’d keep it, but that’s just me. If the bike holds nothing to you from a memory perspective, you should sell it to collectors/vintage enthusiasts for as much as you can. Take no less than $1,000 as a complete unit. If you have time and patience, you can probably sell the cranks/BB and pedals alone for $500.

Just for show, this was the collection at its peak. Dad posed them all up. Included are some of the remainders
