
My current set up is a 40mm stack, so I'd by 15mm higher over the steerer. Aside from maybe needing an extended headset bolt, would not having a spacer above the stem be an issue?
In the pic used they don't use a top spacer…. but not sure if this is just Stridsland jank.

As long as the top bolt in the stem is below the top of the steerer you are fine.
You do not need a spacer above the stem

What is changing in your setup other than the spacers? I am not clear on why you think you would need a longer bolt.
