I gave up stats while riding. I still log, but don't look at it until I'm finished. For now, I'm done with the road bike and going to a converted mountain bike. It's's heavy, it's slow, it will go anywhere, and it's fun as hell to ride.
Now I'm riding like a kid. For the enjoyment and not chasing numbers. What a feeling.
