Frame is Merida Crossway hybrid bike, wheels from a basic mountain bike, Shimano 105 paired with 9 speed Acera.. fork is steel that I welded brake mounts on. Most parts I got at local community bike workshop, some I had in my parts bin. The whole build cost under $100. The only part I "splurged" on were double piston Zoom brake calipers – they are so much better than single side, I can't believe how good they are! Cost $20 for the pair on Aliexpress Bundle deals
