the lunch project restoring a 1999 kona hahanna, hello wondering if anyone knows what kind of handlebars we’re used in this restoration mod? My partner thinks they are motorcycle bars, I can’t find them and I’m not a bike person just seeing if I can find them for him 🙂

Yes its motobar, slightly heavier than sunrise bar or anchor bar from stridsland. The pipe diameter is ⅞inch or 22.2mm, same as BMX bars
I definitely think motorcycle bars, given the grippy hashes (very technical term… knurling, if you prefer) both outside of a center stem. Personally, I’d just grab a Surly sunrise bar.
Definitely moto bars with the spread out clamp areas. Not sure the exact bars in the photo you posted, but I used a pair of Domino Nero bars for my bike. The Domino bars are taller and have sweep compared to those bars.
The closest bike handlebar in that style is the Surly Sunrise, but there are some other similar bars here

Surly Sunrise or VO Klunker bars.
The Surly are wider and aren’t swept back as much as the VO bars.
Also, importantly the Surly Sunrise bars are also 22.2mm clamp, just like the moto bars. They do come with a shim up to 31.8, which I used on my cargo bike no problems
There’s lots of cheap moto bars on eBay and AliExpress.

I have some steel chromed ones on my Kuwahara klunker.
They look like the stock bars that came on my Kona humuhumu 29er
