Hi I am trying to pick between two different bikes. I normally do around 20-40 miles a week minimum and don’t know to much when it comes to buying bikes. I have two potentials I am considering and need to get one ASAP. Can you let me know what you think. Any advice would be appreciated. One is a trek fx 7.2 and the other is a trek fx livestrong special edition. Red one is the Fx 7.2.

Me, I like the black one. Vanity, but I like the exposed crank gears and wheel spokes. I’m not an expert on these bikes, but they seem pretty similar with the black one perhaps having some better components.
Prices would be very good for my area of the US (they would probably be $50-75 more).
20-40 miles a week is a lot to put on a $100, 15 year old bike. Any chance you can increase your budget a bit? These bikes are worth maybe $50-100, nobody wants them.
