Wacky thread, but here we are. I have an older 3T strada that I love very much, but it is getting worn out and the only real reason I want to upgrade it is to add a front derailleur so I can better maintain power levels on group rides and fast workouts. The bike is a 1x ONLY and has no provision for a front derailleur. It's also getting old and clapped out, with some non structural (paint) cracks around the seat tube and some paint starting to age probably from sweat. Anyways, those issues have me convinced that I'm not likely to get a lot of resale out of it and would be better off keeping it until it eventually gives up. I recognize that this may compromise the strength of my frame over time, but I'm hoping it will rejuvenate the frame for another year or two and stave off a bigger purchase.
I've included a photo of the factory Strada "due" that came with a front derailleur mount. Allegedly this came with reinforced carbon in the area and I cannot seem to buy the mount separately. I'm wondering if I can scoop up something similar, carefully drill some rivnut holes, and use a combination of epoxy and rivets to get a strong enough hold for a front derailleur?

That all sounds doable. But I don’t think you should. Maybe have someone who fixes carbon frames look at it to see if they could do it. For something like this I’d trust someone who work in it to advise me and do the work.
