Dave Mirra was a legend. RIP to one of rhe greatest of all time
Dude growing up in NC, Dave was like this mythic God like figure… Not only that, he and Cagy were the first dudes to really push strength training and athletic training like true athletes which made the scene healthier and able to take slams way easier.
RIP to one of the best to ever do it. I was lucky, my boss was an old 80s BMX guy so when he heard the news I got a text saying take the day and go ride…
I also have his signature stuck inside of a copy of Dave Mirras BMX for Dreamcast. Got it when the X Trials came to RVA.
